Itinerary

Departure: 8:00 am · Total duration: about 11 hours · Pick-up: your hotel in the historic centre of Cusco.

  1. Day 1 One day, four towns, a thousand stories

    Hotel pick-up (7:00 - 7:45 am): if your hotel is in the historic centre we collect you directly. Otherwise we agree a nearby meeting point.

    Hawana Cancha and Taray viewpoint: visit an interpretation centre dedicated to South American camelids (llamas, alpacas, vicuñas) and discover traditional weaving and natural dyes. Photo stop at the Taray viewpoint overlooking the Sacred Valley.

    Pisac craft market and town: textiles, ceramics, silver jewellery and traditional bread ovens serving freshly baked empanadas.

    Pisac archaeological site: an exceptional site with agricultural terraces, aqueducts, temples and one of the most sacred ancient cemeteries in the valley.

    Lunch in Urubamba at a local tourist restaurant (buffet or à la carte) - not included in the rate.

    Ollantaytambo: one of the last Inca towns to retain its original layout. Visit its majestic temple-fortress, built with giant stones, and free time in its cobbled streets.

    Chinchero textile centre and market: Quechua women demonstrate ancestral dyeing and weaving techniques. Explore the craft market and the colonial church built on Inca foundations.

    Return to Cusco (5:30 - 6:00 pm) to your hotel or the central drop-off point.
